This month Prince George turns one. It’s been a busy year for the Prince with public duties that saw him visit Australia and New Zealand! We’d struggle to pack all of that in to one year, but then, we’re hardly overrun with demands for personal appearances. If anything, people are a little disappointed when we show up.
With the Prince turning one, it seems only right that we look at ways to make your little ones’ first birthday as special as it can be. OK, so you may have to settle for a bouncy castle instead of Buckingham Palace but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun.
When it comes to birthday parties for one year olds, it’s as much about continuing their development as having a blow-out. There’s no point having an eleven-tier cake or spending a fortune getting S Club 7 to reform and sing ‘Happy Birthday’ when baby won’t remember it. Although we’re sure they’d have a good go at the cake.
It’s much better to create a fun and stimulating day that isn’t too overwhelming for them. To help you plan the perfect party, we’ve compiled some of the best games, crafts and food, not to mention decorations, outfits and gifts! We’ll have everything you need to make your Birthday tot’s big day the best it can be.
Over the next few days, we will be posting our top picks, so stay tuned…
