THE BEST KID FRIENDLY RESTAURANT IN MANCHESTER
Food glorious food. It’s fair to say that Oliver Twist had it hard, but even he didn’t have to contend with poor baby changing facilities when he was tucking into his gruel. Unless we’re treating ourselves to a cheeky takeaway and bottle of wine, we all love to eat out but finding somewhere that has more than one high chair is hard enough, never mind finding somewhere that actively caters to the little ones.
To help make the difficult selection process that bit easier, we have lovingly hand-picked the best kid-friendly restaurant in Manchester. With the help of local parents and industry insiders, we have sorted the good from the bad, the wheat from the chaff, the bangers from the mash.
And the winner is…
BEAN AND BRUSH FAMILY ART CAFÉ
If it’s gorgeous food you’re after, we’re tempted to send you somewhere else, so that we can keep this place all to ourselves. The Bean and Brush serves delicious freshly cooked food.
Serving a simply sumptuous array of freshly cooked dishes made from locally sourced produce, ranging from organic porridge and stone-baked pizza, through to freshly baked scones, the team behind Bean & Brush pride themselves on using fresh, seasonal, locally sourced produce. They are members of local co-operative, the Manchester Veg People, and only source their cakes, tray bakes and scones from independent local bakers – many of whom are mums with small children.
In the main café, which is downstairs, the smallest guests are not forgotten. Bean & Brush is one of those rare places that genuinely welcomes breast-feeding and offers a range of comfy sofas, feeding chairs and private booths to ensure that nursing mothers feel welcome and comfortable.
