Our guide to Baby Birthdays comes to an end as we reach no. 4! We realise by 4 years old, they’re long past being considered ‘babies’ but we can’t resist writing it. Plus, it sounds better than “Small Child’s 4Year Anniversary”.
As your little one’s fourth birthday comes round you can be filled with ideas of how you want it to be, but sometimes it can be difficult to narrow your options down. We’ve tried to make this process a little easier, by cherry-picking the best ideas out there.
So have a look at our selection – perfect for your small child’s 4 year anniversary.
It can be easy to design a birthday that looks great but what does it say about your child? We mean, what does it really say, honestly? It’s always nice when you can put their stamp on it, it is for them after all. Using their bedroom posters, photographs of them and the family, and even their toys – strategically placing them around the room, means your tot will be surrounded by their favourite things.
They say ‘you are what you eat’; we hope that’s not true. If it is, then we’re late night fast food and peanut butter straight from the jar. But just because we don’t eat right, doesn’t mean your tots shouldn’t. Why not create make-your-own pizzas – with fresh toppings like tuna, pineapple, peppers, tomatoes and sweet corn? Kids can help out while eating right – and they’ll never suspect a thing! Other healthy options could be fruit and yoghurt cups, and even carrot or beetroot cake. Yeah, we’re not too sure about that last one, either.
When you get older, you spend longer trying to make yourself look good –fortunately, 4 year olds don’t have the same self-esteem problems that we do and besides, our range of clothing always makes them stand out and look their best – particularly this Girls Three Piece Floral Dress Set and Boys Four Piece Waistcoat Set.
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to party games – from Pass the Donkey to pin the tail on the Parcel Force man; there’s loads to choose from. Depending what sort of party you’re throwing, indoor soft play areas are always fun, safe and can, in some instances, prove to be cheaper than doing it all yourself. There are plenty of fun activities and adventures they can have, while you sit it out and have bit of me-time*.
