Let’s not kid ourselves; while we would love to say that Christmas is all about spending time with the family and recharging the batteries after a long year, everyone actually knows it’s about the presents. Not getting presents, but buying them, that’s why we put together this little gift guide for little tots.
Buying presents for your loved ones gets more difficult with every year. You end up looking as early as April – spotting gifts you think will be perfect and desperately trying to remember them come December. By that point you’ve completely forgotten and it becomes a mad rush to grab anything half decent.
With kids it’s even harder – what do you get for the little ones who will, no doubt, be inundated with gifts? You don’t want to overwhelm them but neither can you buy them a bottle of aftershave and some chocolate liqueurs and be done with it.
At Mamas & Papas, we pride ourselves on creating gifts children and babies will love – that’s sort of what we do – so here is a list of our Top Christmas gifts for your little one. And there isn’t a Loom Band in sight.
Girls Tutu – Is there any outfit that can’t be rounded off with a tutu? We don’t think so. It adds a dash of elegance and glamour to any get up, whether it’s wellies and an anorak, or a three piece pin-striped suit. Your little show offs will love this frilly piece of fashion.
Knitted Ear Muffs - Little ones always look delightful when they’re wrapped up for winter and these fluffy muffs will not only make them look even cuter, but protect those delicate little ears too.
Fairisle Socks – …Because Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a pair of socks. And when your socks look as good as this, then who needs shoes?
Winter Princess – No doubt your house will be a shrine to the film Frozen, with ‘Let it Go’ on a constant loop, making it feel more like a brainwashed cult than a children’s nursery. Well, our Winter Princess is the perfect addition – she can’t turn things into ice but she will melt the hearts of little ones, who won’t be able to get enough of her.
Donna Wilson Foxleaf Toy – A distinctive creature with a whole heap of foxy charm, it’s hard not to love this cute fox travel toy.
Snowflake Rocking Horse – This is Snowflake. A pony is always a popular request at Christmas, but with Snowflake you have all the joy of owning one, with none of the hassle – for a start you don’t have to clear up after her. Snowflake is beautifully made and so soft – we think she’s gorgeous and we know your little ones will too.
