Christmas is a time for decorations. At no other time of year is it acceptable to drag foliage into the house and tart it up with glittery balls and fairy lights. The same goes for draping stringy tinsel over picture frames and mirrors, or hanging terrifying Santa manikins from the roof to scare the neighbours.
That said, some decorations really add a touch of festive flare to the house, especially if you’ve made them with your little Christmas cracker.
We’ve come up with the formula for the perfect homemade Christmas snowflake. All it takes is a little cutting, so if your helpers are too young, it might be best to take care of this bit yourself.
